The return of the Fatboy???

I'm thinking of starting up a blog - But in all honesty not sure how to do it. Best software, site etc. Complete novice. So just asking some advice on here. All comments welcome.

Good man Len. Dont be a fly by night making a couple of entries and let it peter out like a lot of blogs. Also dont be like mod Steo and put your heart and soul into a post so much so that you run out of steam to finish a pt2(i tried to warn him).
And dont let the money go to your head either its a lucrative trade but the $$ can make you a little crazy. Also your a married man so dont forget about your vows when all the womenz start pm'ing you etc. Its a tough racket i wont lie about that.

btw to answer the original question about blogs - wordpress offers a lot more flexibility and adaptability in terms of a blog, but maybe isn't really worth the extra hassle compared to blogspot

Jesus, I might start one meself. Do I actually have to write stuff or can I just put up my instant messenger information and my bank account details. That's deadly. How long does it take for the money to start coming in? Are the pm'ing womenz hot Aidan? How can I make sure the wife doesn't find out? If I think of any more questions I'll pm you. Cheers

LOL, you certainly did, I actually have the final part basically finished, just need to proof it and publish, but it's fcuking long and I can't imagine how much work will be involved in getting in ready to publish. Been putting it off for weeks.

Also, great blog Fatboy, I think I'll keep upto date with this one, I never realised you were a writer, surely one of the best jobs going... a blog entry on how you got into the industry would be sweet (seeing as you are doing requests... ).

lol thanks Len i just read that second entry now but i cannot read or leave blog comments from work. Seems like a good deal of stress but i suppose when your used to it you get into a routine of sorts.
I preferred The Bill when the stories were stand alone in Tosh Lynes day some episodes were classic. I also loved the way they put those episodes of 'ever decreasing circles' together, some great writing there imo. I stopped watching The Bill when the programmes started to get longer and became serial, and that polly gave me a pain. I would also assume standalone episodes were a whole lot easier for the writer not to have to be worrying about serial leads and open enders. Very interesting.

And DubTony i may have exaggerated just to hook Len in!.

I decided to do a sister blog to my own *proper* online diary that is really not for viewing by chimps et al, too much private stuff in there... I'll just write randomn generic stuff in the yuletired blog to offload stuff that I'd normally put on boards or that I might infect my other diary with., it should also reduce my post counts which went over the 1k mark yesterday...(YIKES) ....as of yet I've no real poker content in it. Feel free to post insulting comments on it as I couldn't give a toss...

I only seen this now! i read the bottom paragraph earlier but for some reason didnt read the top paragraph first. I often read posts from the bottom up though for some reason.
Anyway good to hear your nearly ready to go. My brother emailed me recently to ask did you ever finish it and i wrote back to tell him "Theres no chance, no chance". So now i'll have to tell him Woltz changed his mind!.
