I see the first 2 home games are in Musgrave park. Is this because Thomond wont be ready til October?

what a handy draw for Munster, facing montuban in the last game when they'll have lost interest in the competition.......

Same fixtures have been rumoured on other sites also. seems many people are hearing the same thing.
fixtures aren't officially announced until thursday though.

I've also heard about the 1st four fixtures but my guess will be the two after Christmas wont be confirmed until later - Sky will want to wait to see who's in the running for the qualifiers - they will certainly want the Munster/Sale match to be on the last week-end if that becomes another miracle match.

I'm pretty sure all the matches are scheduled at once and I certainly don't rememeber the last time it didn't follow the format of finishing away to the team you start at home against and so on.

you are right about the format, but they are not fully scheduled. Sky don't decide the timings of the post christmas matches until after round 4 normally.

The timings no, but they're not going to shift the Munster Sale match to the last weekend if they don't start off with the Sale Munster match.

Lol, bang on the money...times and all. I think that's a fuc*ing joke that that got leaked a week before everyone else got their fixtures released (so that's how Munster fans get all those cheap flights!! )

    Leinster are as follows:
    SATURDAY 11 OCTOBER, 2008
    Pool 2 Edinburgh v Leinster 13.35 Sky Sports/ RTE*

    SATURDAY 18 OCTOBER, 2008
Pool 2 Leinster v London Wasps 17.30 Sky Sports/ RTE*

    SATURDAY 6 DECEMBER, 2008
    Pool 2 Leinster v Castres Olympique 13.35 Sky Sports / Sport+/ RTE*

    FRIDAY 12 DECEMBER, 2008
    Pool 2 Castres Olympique v Leinster 21.00 Canal+Sport / Sky Sports/ RTE*

    16 / 17 / 18 JANUARY, 2009
Pool 2 London Wasps v Leinster

    23 / 24 / 25 JANUARY, 2009
    Pool 2 Leinster v Edinburgh

Very happy with that, and, surprise surprise! Not away to Wasps in the last game..AT HOME!! AND TO EDINBURGH!! Are the ERC finaly starting to like us?????

I do love when I'm right.
That fixture list for Leinster really looks like it could suit them. Think they'll only lose away to Wasps in the groups. Edinburgh won't have much involvement by round 6 and will most likely send out a 2nd team.

Fairplay Hansel, although I saw the fixture list on Dolan's website earlier in the week. Was that your work too? I took a chance on flights to Manchester for Sale game.

I think its good for Leinster that they have got Edinburgh Away first - if they can win that one, it could give them a great confidence boost for the rest of their fixtures and would expect them to win all except Wasps Away.

No that wasn't me on the dolan's forum anyway. Everybody i spoke to last weekend seemed to have heard to same as myself though. It was quite a major leak this time around. Surprised that there weren't leaks from the other provinces also.

Beating Edinburgh at home was never going to be a problem though, its that first up game to them away that is the stickler. At least we'll know quickly whether or not we're ****ed again.

Hansel did you not see the Christmas game against Edinburgh last year?

Leinster didnt at any point look like beating them at murrayfield.
So i wouldnt be counting them out. They know they prob wont qualify but they still like winning.
I dont think ive seen any team except maybe a French team send out a reserves team in the Heineken Cup.
I sincerely doubt that they will do it at home either with falling revenues, wouldnt be great for their magners league ticket sales.
