I tried to post on the Dublin City one to ask a question about staying there and now cant post anywhere except here?? Does that make sense to anyone? Have I been blacklisted for an unknown reason??:(

You did post on the forum however the post and others were removed due to a topic that cannot be talked about on boards.ie (see stickies on all fora). You dont seem to be banned from that particular forum though, try PMing Dub13 and see if your access has been changed maybe?
