Presuming it's Ryanair, did you check their site?

It outlines everything pretty clearly in it's travel questions section.

There is an express domestic security queue in Dublin at A&D gates security - to the far right.

If it is Ryanair, you'll be given the option to check in for the return flight also, provided it's within 5 days of the day you're doing the online checkin..

    Hi OP

For online check in, the exact procedure will probably be slightly different depending on which airline you've chosen. I usually fly with Ryanair and you can check in online from 5 days before your flight, right up until 4 hours before. In general you'll need your booking confirmation and maybe your credit card number (or some other security info).

So, lets say you login on Friday night - you'll be able to check in for both flights - just remember to print off both boarding passes... Hope you enjoy the trip down to Cork (aka the Real Capital ;)
