You don't seem to be getting the concept of "bargain alerts". If you don't like what's posted, don't bother commenting.

You need to watch for a sense of humour on bargain alerts.

M&S are very secretive about the dates of there sales so anyone who was going to buy something there before Thursday would be glad of the heads up :p

And yes it is only you but isn't it always!

    Hey Grawns

Thanks for the Heads up cos I was going to bring a pair of shoes in to change them so now I might get a bargain tomorrow instead.
I believe in order to rock up their image they're bringing out a new range of sexy lingerie...the caption on the Billboard is gonna be... "A little S & M comes to M & S".... LOL, nah...maybe I should get into advertising! Thanks anyhoo!

Hey, anyone any idea of how much discount is going? I was thinking of picking up a couple of spare suits and M&S is usually handy for that...

You'll only get the "sale price if you return them during the sale.

Unless he has proof of purchase and the return is within their timeframe.

Same - been in today, terrible sale. I would hardly call it a sale at all, just merely a couple of end of line reductions and I mean a couple in each section.

Got a pair of Chinos reduced from 55 to 22.50- which was about the only thing worth buying that was actually on sale. There were rack fulls of various trousers in 44/46/48 inch waists- perhaps they might suit someone- but they weren't even being looked at. There were some interesting Blue Harbour shorts on sale- but then again, I can't imagine I'll ever be wearing shorts again........ Really quite disappointing to be honest- but then again I only ducked in out of the rain and ended up with a decent enough pair of Chinos sized 34/31 so I'm happy enough. Might be an idea to pay a visit again in a few weeks time........ I could seriously do with one of those nice pinstripe wool travel suits :)
