If you looking for one that can be used on a website, I suggest MonoSlideShow which is quite easy to customise but it's a paid flash. I think 20 dollars.

Nero does it, to burn to CD/DVD.

Lightroom can also do on screen slideshow, or web slideshow.

There are loads of applications out there that can do what you want.

As Keith and Paul mentioned above, they would be the best options.

I use acdsee, which among other things have a great feature for creating slideshows, and also have a brilliant feature for uploading a temporary photoalbum on the net called "SendPix". Acdsee is by far the best photoindexing software I have tried.

For flash slideshows on websites I use "Flash Slideshow Maker Professional". See an example of such flash animation slideshow on the frontpage of www.gaatec.com
