St Annes Open week

    St annes open week is on at the moment. Was thinking of playing the singles on thuresday. Has anyone played it recently what condition is it in and any tips? I think its a leave the driver in the boot course

    I have done a search and alot of mixed reviews

    Played it few weeks ago, course in ok condition, greens average for a links, and very firm. You can bring driver, you'll need it hitting into wind. Enjoy!

    Played it yesterday for the 1st time.
    Nice course.
    Few tricky holes - Some very long when palyed into the wind.
    Not a good as Island/Portmarnock/Royal Dublin not that there's any shame in that.

    All in all, Quite enjoyable course.
