    Hi,

I'm driving from Dublin to Cork on Thursday - leaving Dublin around Noon (D4) - any idea how long it should take with traffic, etc...........(mods, this should possibly be in the Dublin thread..........not sure).

    Ta,

    C.

    3hrs.

AA routeplanner can be your friend. Remember the change for the toll.

Usually takes me 3 hours to get from Stillorgan to Midleton. Although, 2 Fridays ago it took nearly 4 hours because of the stupid Redcow roundabout and my friend drank 3 cups of tea before the journey

Thurs noon, you should make it down in 3 hours. I don't think the Redcow would be busy around then but if you need to be in Cork for a certain time, give it an extra half hour just in case.

It sure can - but not at any legal speeds...
I usually do 2Hrs 30 mins from M50 to city centre
Can knock 15 mins off that if it's really quiet.

Depends where in Dublin you're coming from.

I usually do Swords to Cork city in around 3.5 hours.
That is driving at legal speeds, and not overtaking dangerously.
