Monitor or TV?

Folks, I have a computer in the Kids play area that needs replacement. Currently there is no Play Station in the house but that could change by Christmas. I am wondering what is the best solution - A TV with a PC input or a Monitor that will accommodate a Play Station. All thoughts & Suggestions welcome. Skoda.

I have a TV as a monitor ( 32" ! ) and find the flexibility great.
