Identify tree ??

Hi Folks, Spotted this broad leaf tree in France and collected some of its seeds. The seeds were pencil thick pods between 12” - 18”. Anyone know the name of the tree? See attached. Thanks Paul

Hard to make out from the pic, but looks like a catalpa tree.
