In Castlebar, Edge beside a-wear do basic piercing, and there is a tattoo place on Market square. There is also a tattoo shop in ballina, I know a few people who have had some done there and they were happy with how it turned out.

The one in Ballina has an excellent reputation for colour work.

The one in Ballina, the name of which escapes me does some great work. Ed, the tatooist did my brother and did a damn good job. Anyone I know who has gone to him has been very satisfied.

There is also a place in Ballina that do piercings, the name also ecapes me. I'm not sure what they do atm as the piercer left recently and a new girl took over. I'm getting two more lip piercings done there in a week or two as well as my eye brow.

Got my first done in Ballina almost 10 years ago - couldn't recommend the guy enough. After this long, there's barely a hint of "bleed" and there are a lot of very fine lines and delicate work. Did me a great favour keeping the shop open after hours to allow me to travel from Castlebar after work and I thought the price was pretty good too.
