    Hi.
im just wondering if anyone can recomend software to automatically remove duplicate tracks in the itunes library. there seems to be a lot of duplicates, over 1000, and i dont want to have to manually go through them.

and also if there is any software that will populate the blank album covers with images automatically? itunes finds some of them, but maybe a 3rd of them are blank, and it would be handy if there was software that would do this automatically.

im running win xp and the latest i tunes 7.
there seems to be a lot of 3rd party software for mac users, but not the same choice for windows users.
and i would be curious to see what application people are using out there..,
    Thanks
    Damien

    Hi aidan,
thanks for your response, but im looking for some software to do this for me, as i have quite a lot of duplicates. i dont want to manually have to go through the 1000+ tracks that are duplicate.

i tried some software(clone remover, idupe etc), which looked at track title, running time, bit rates etc, and removed duplicate tracks based on that criteria, but it ran like a pig, taking up all my ram on the machine, and generally didnt do much.

so im just wondering what software (if any) people are using for this.

    regards
    Damein
