Nevaeh-2die-4, just give it a break and let it rest. Haven't heard that tune Nugget, but listened to a few tracks off Invisible Empire and it was pretty good.

Yeah man hes a quality mc. Have to try get more of his albums. Only one i was able to find was feast or famine when i was in ny.

Parish ive repeatedly told him to stop arguing in threads with me and going off topic. He just has a thing for me i suppose.

    Sound of Philly... beastly tunage.

    Reef is the stuff.

Never really heard much of Reef before, and i can honestly say that I'm impressed. Been listening to a few of his tracks for the past 30 minss and i'll be on the look out for more.

My one problem is with the production, the beats are pretty good but they just get monotnous too quick. I'm not a fan of the same 4 bars being looped for the entire track. Sometimes it works though but the mc has to carry it, i think this is where Reef might struggle. But, I haven't listened to enough of his stuff yet to know for sure.

One of my favorite Reef tracks is humble beginnings. The piano and violin samples are brilliant. Not to mention the lyrics.

Boom bap give both Invisible Empire and feast or famine a proper listen right through. The production on his first album, The High Life was pretty much produced by the one person. While the album is good the production isn't recognized as good as his 2 succeeding albums. Also check out his work with the JuJu and AOTP. I reckon you'll change your mind on whether Reef can carry a track then.

I'm gonna be checking these out and i'm hoping he changes my mind. I'm always looking for something new to listen to.
