Thinking of holidaying in Lake Garda and Florence in September - possibly 4 days in each.
Any ideas on getting there - what airports to fly into / out of?
How to travel between the 2 (Lake Garda & Florence)?
    What to do / see?
    Cheers

Loads to do in florence such as museums- accademia etc. and another one i cant think of at the moment- need to book museums ahead of time as queues are unreal, maybe better in september. You can fly ryanair to pisa. I dont know about getting to lake garda but i am sure you can get a train. We did pisa, lucca & wine tasting in tuscany from florence. Never got to lake garda but it sounds amazing

Just back from lake Garda - stayed in camping Bella Italia in Pescheria Del Garda. Flew back from Milan Malpensa. 1 hour train to Milan Centrale and then caught Malpensa Shuttle bus for 7.50 euro adult (also 60 mins). Lake boats call to Peschieria so you can travel around or you could get a speedboat for 70 euro for 4 hours plus fuel . Ferrari museum is abouut 60 miles from Pescheria near Mondeno. Plenty of Roman ruins in Pescheria also ! Markets on Mondays 10- 12 ! Gardaland worth a visit and Aquaparadise and movieland . Gardaland is 32euro for 1 day ticket . 6-8pm a good time for bigger rides before night pass people arrive at 8pm . Stays open till midnight

Hunter 164 - Bella Italia is good but very big! Prepare for loads of walking ! Very clean - best campsite restaurant is costa riga I thought. Plenty of activities for kids and adults. Archery, soccer, pingpong , tennis etc. Loads of clubs and activities for kids . Pools open 9-7pm July and August- hard to get a deckchair although they have a little beach 20 mtrs from pool where you get 2 deckchairs and shade for 5 euro without the rush. Shop prices likeall sites- a litte dear but not too bad. If you drive there are a local spar and Lidl nearby. 15 min walk into Pesheria. Good pharmacy outside main gates for suncream etc- half the price of campsite

There is probably enough space near the soccer pitch or on it when not in use !
