    Hi guys just wonderin if anyone could tell me is there any set procedure for taking hurleys on a plane or do you just put them in a bag with the rest of the luggage? Thanks in advance.

    AFAIK they'll have to be checked in. You will need to confirm with your airline though, but they would be classed in the same league as cricket and baseball bats, so I can't see them being allowed onboard

    Won't they have to go as sports equipment or oversized luggage because of their length? That makes them a bit more expensive to take. If a group of players are travelling, it probably would be worth packing a number of them in one bag or case. There does not seem to be much point in being the only hurler in town.

    I don't suppose you can fold them.
