Went to see this in Cineworld yesterday, and was pretty impressed by the 3D stuff.

Without the 3D gimmick though the film seemed to be pretty weak, sub mummy, type stuff. Very much a kids film.

A bit annoyed that i had to give the 3D glasses back at the end after paying over 15 euros.

I enjoyed it alright. But cant see it doing much bussiness without the 3D gimmick. Itll die a death on DVD

We're showing the normal film and it's doing pretty good business with the kids/families.

No clue. Haven't seen it myself, but I'm presuming it'll be more or less the exact same movie. I did see some sections and it was very obvious that it was meant to be 3D.

Yeah theres a big dirty T Rex. He looks pretty crap though.

Kept thinking though were it not for the 3D element. How the whole film looked like a PC game from the late 90s

I enjoyed it though. Cant say Id recommend anyone to see the non 3D film

Not bad film, 3D aspect helped alot. I liked how some of the previews before hand where also in 3D. Bolt actually has me a little interested.

Went to see this today just to experience the 3D. The 3D stuff is definitely impressive but the movie itself was fairly pants. Worth going to see if you haven't witnessed the new 3D technology though.

I wonder will they be making many non-kids 3D films. I know Avatar aint a kids movie...anything else ?

Saw the non-3d version, and I hope nobody was looking to this as their summer blockbuster movie. Very tame, and VERY slow to get started. It's sub TV movie by a long way. Brendan phoned in this performance.

I'd imagine you'd want to be pre-teen to get anything out of this movie.

Maybe the 3D might have been good - which is promising for other movies, but this film sucked.

Instead of a PC game, I thought this movie was like a set up for a theme park ride.

It goes without saying that almost nothing in this movie is plausible -
Far from the centre of the earth, from what we saw they could only have been a mile or two below ground yet from starting off in Iceland they emerge in Italy (well a film set really)
