Ryanair - "Priority Web check in " and "Web Check In"

I noticed something when I flew out of Dublin last week on a Ryanair sign and was wondering if anyone can shed any light on it.

The sign that directs people to the right queue had under the "Priority" section that if you had "Priority Web Check in" you could queue there. Under the "All other passengers" sign they had "Web Check In" (with no priority in front of it). At the moment all Web Check in is priority but was just wondering are they planning to introduce an extra charge to give you the priority "perk" if you check in online? Hope this makes sense.

I think they are now charging extra for the priority boarding even if you are doing web checkin. Those signs have always been like that though.

Yes - just did a google search and came up with this

From 3rd June , free to do web check in but you now have to pay extra for priority. I haven't booked any flights since then so didn't notice. They must have started changing the signs to accomodate this.
