    I've heard of a couple of people who got some free stuff off it and were quite happy (they only allow free stuff, don't they). Apparently stuff doesn't last long there, same with decent stuff in the adverts freebie section.

    Is everything free on that site if you ask for it like? Do you have to meet up or do they get posted to you? Can you explain what that sites about?

    yeah was promised something on there today and then somebody else gave a sob storey to why they wanted it to the owner and he changed his mind because he felt sorry for her but as it turned out it was the same reason i wanted it but just didnt want to say it and then to make it worse i looked at her history on it and she seems to be takin loads of things from everyone just bein greedy like??? i know i'm a bit worked up over something so silly but i just hate greed aaaah then i was wonderin was it really an ad or just people messin??? sorry about my rant, i feel better now thanks

    But why would someone give away something good for free?

    I don't use it much, but I did manage to get a damn sweet Denon AVR3802 with mission speakers last year from Jumbletown. While getting a bit old, it was around £800 new, and still working perfectly. :)

    That's between you and the giver. I'd expect that if your getting something for free you'd at least pay postage...
