So, seen them last night live. The have headline slots at all the big festivals around Europe. I'm gotta say I'm suprised they managed to get such a high billing despite not producing anything of quality over the last 10 years.

Decided to go back and listen to their back catalogue and its aged pretty well. Also some of Ashcrofts solo stuff is ok.

So, will they enjoy a revival now or is breakup number 3 on the way?

The comeback single would have been good if not for the dumb sample in the background.

Completely overrated band. Never understood the amount of people who wanked themselves dry over bittersweet symphony. I had a northern soul and urban hymns, both pretty average albums tbh.

Agree with Affable... the sample running in the back of the new single is really annoying.

Interested to see what the new album is like - they have written some catchy songs in the past.

BSS is way overrated, as it Drugs don't work. However songs like On your own, Sonnet, Weeping Willlow are great songs. But I'd agree, they are overrated albums.

think the new song is great. The set on Saturday night was one of the best performances I've ever seen but I am in love with them. They really rocked the place and the backround on the new song is great imo. If they played it in a club it would get everyone up

I think the sample is what makes the song in anyway good, if it wasn’t for it it’d be pretty uselss. Don’t really like em anyways, think they are ridiculously overrated.

New album is to be named Forth.I must say Im looking forward to this immensely. If McCabe had been involved in Ashcroft's solo work I think he could have brought it up a notch.

He may come across as a bit of a tool but I think he is an amazing vocalist.Think the new single is good also.

I was looking forward to the new album but has Mr E says above the sample playing in the background of Love is Noise, is awful.
