Does anyone have any idea what the newest mini I could get and still get classic insurance? I know its 20 years old or more but is there any chance to get something fresher thru? Who are the best insurers to try this on?
What quote do you think it would be, 32 yr old in Galway over 5yrs NCB?

First Ireland in Phibsboro were very helpful

018820800 20 years is usually the newest they'll do, but they do make exceptions AFAIK

i think some companys will do classic insurance at 15 years, axa????will it be a second car?
dont forget that it must be over 30 years old for the cheap road tax, although mini's wont break the bank on tax.

FBD do a "classic policy",my Cherry100A was 360quid for the year,im 28,its basically a standard 3rd party policy as far as i can see.The chevette is insured with through the I.V.S.,150 quid for the year, but you need another policy and a garage report for them,oh yeah, you must be over 26 aswell.

    Good luck!!
