Hello all fellow home owners / diy - ers

I'm moving into a new house soon and the funds are low so will be living with concrete floors for a while:eek:

Anyone any ideas about what to do with them before I put floors down?
Himself says we should paint the floors, is this a good idea?

You could throw down rugs. A current trend is layering/overlapping different styled rugs. This way its not permanent and will keep you feet warm.

Himself could be right or yourself maybe killed dusting every surface.
Use polybond or some other concrete sealer it will keep the dust down and some rug throws or strips of carpet from friends will prevent cold feet.
