Grazers are generally smaller, I use my binos or scope, does are generally not in great shape when they're feeding young

    I squeeze pee

As said above, grazers are basically teenagers, they look very fresh and clean and a bit smaller than an adult doe or buck. Bucks usually have bigger heads and have muscular facial features.

I squeeze the pee out too, i also skin them and gut them where i shot them and put them in my plastic lined game bag.

Simply cut the legs off, cut around the neck fur then pull the skin down over the whole body, you should not have to touch the body. Then open the belly while still holding the rabbit by the head, use gut hook or similar, I use a victrinox hunter knife with the gralloching blade. With two fingers pull out the stomach liver etc etc. At the bottom end use a finger from the insjde to push the pellets(poo) out, then pull off the tail and the head. Job done. Takes 2-3mins, you have a perfectly clean carcass when you get home and no smelly wheely bins, happier woman too:)

    Takes 2-3mins

Dont give up the day job:D
People around these parts used to skin and gut rabbits in a few seconds, in fairness they were full time rabbit skinners but that was years ago, before '54

How long does it take you to skin and gut a deer?

Don't know who's idea it was but I started using a method some of the lads I hunt with use - catch it by the shoulder/neck and with the other hand squeeze from just below the rib cage - keep pushing the lot down towards the ass and the entire innards shoot out  liver, stomach and all.
Sounds as if you'd rupture the guts etc but you don't and it's about the quickest and neatest way I know. The bucks can be harder to do.

I'd never skin them until I go home - don't bother with a bag so I just string their legs together and the skin keeps them clean.

As above but don't touch the guts. When the belly is open hold the head and throw/toss the lot around, still holding on, and the guts fly's out. Not good to do in the kitchen.

im very picky about what rabbits i eat. i really only like eating the grazers in summer and the odd big one in winter.

the best way to recognise a grazer IMO to compare their hads to a young lads fist. thats about the size of their heads.

i also wont eat a rabbit that has had its guts burst inside it before i clean it out, i find it taints the meat.

Straight after i shoot them, i run out the urine, and gut them straight away. I then leave them in saltwater and oranges for the night before i cook them.

    makes them nice and sweet!
