using psu 12v for router

    anyone see any disadvantage or danger to using the 12v rail to feed my netopia modem,

    modems psu has died, so instead of getting a new one i thought it would be handier and a good power saver to just connect it to the pcs 12v,

    pc has a 400watt psu and has 13a on 12v, modem needs 1a
