    Hi

Does anyone know anything about visiting here? I have looked on their website. I dont plan on going to participate (lack of time being the issue), its a case that a friend of mine from Colombia is going there for a couple of months and asked me to visit. I cant figure out at all about the place in this respect - can I go in there, or she out (if so when/times), etc etc.

Any info would be welcomed .

    Thanks!

I haven't been in Taize in about 7 years but as far as I remember you can just turn up. Booking ahead is a courtesy but they will not be full or turn you away. You possibly just wander in without alerting those in charge. You're expected to pay a nominal sum per day stay (about 10 euro but might not be). There are prayer groups and discussion groups and all of that type of thing. Nobody will come looking for you if you don't turn up. To make things simple you could turn up, introduce yourself, pay for your couple of days stay, find your friend, set up camp and just do your own thing while you're there.
