I remember seeing this a few years back, doesn#'t it also cover the whole snowball earth theory as well?

If global dimming is happening, then it's not over-riding the heating effect.....hence the glaciers melting.
But global dimming is considered a possible solution to climate change. Some scientists have suggested "artificially" increasing the dimming effect of the top of the clouds a small bit to reflect the sunlight way.....and so cool the earth. So, it would be like a tap where man can control the heat of the earth.

But they do suggest that it should be considered a last resort. People need to know how serious Climate Change is first and act on it.

One thing that was mentioned in relation to the 911 incident when almost all aircraft were grounded, is that of the rapid temperature rise (difference).

The word difference is only used once, but if the skies are clearer then of course the temperature difference will increase as well.

The cooler nights should cancel out the warmer days - something that was not commented on at all!

The final 10 minutes were a bit of a "doomsday senario". Everyone appeared to focus on the temperature increase while ignoring the additional night time cooling
