Ok sorry if this is really naive question but I'll ask anyway. What are the different weights of gloves about? I saw 8, 10 and 12 oz gloves in the shop and didn't know which to get...
    Thanks in advance

Well i have 14 oz gloves and while they are powerful their weight makes me drop my hands a bit. I'd recommend 10 oz, not too powerful and not too heavy.

It will depend on your weight. I wouldn't fancy sparring a super HW with 10oz gloves
Sparring at my club will usually demand 14oz at a minimum.
However in kickboxing we compete in 10oz

    i train with 10oz gloves,
Sparring-most clubs will usually demand 14-16oz. Personally i think the lighter lads should spar in 10oz and the heavy lads in 16oz gloves. Amateur boxers where 10oz gloves, pro where 8oz at the lighter weights and 10oz at the rest..
