Iphone applications - games for ROI?

    so i have an iphone, for a little while, and yesterday with 2.0 update was the first time i had new applications. and discovered that the only ones available in ROI are bloomin awful. so.. anyone know if/where i can get some decent games for my iphone?

    You can get a US account - just have a look at my post at the end of this page It may seem a bit complicated but it's not actually too difficult and once you've done the initial work it's just like using your Irish account.

    thanks, but i think ill wait - last thing i need is to invalidate warranty etc if anything goes wrong, and fraud isnt a great thing to have on record!!

    I Just emailed one of the Game Developers and they said that there is a problem with the Irish store, and that Apple are aware of it. He was surprised they hadn't resolved the issue yet as he was getting lots of emails, but I'm guessing with all the other things that went on over the weekend with iPhone activation etc this was low on their list of priorities. I suspect it will be updated before the end of the week. In the mean time I suggest everyone go to http://www.apple.com/feedback and submit a bug report about this issue.

    Forgot to say that iyour iphone will remain on the account that you were logged into when you last synced it with itunes. Probably best to leave it on your Irish account as it's all too easy to spend loads of money downloading lots of tempting apps/games direct to your iphone.

    yeah ive reported this, also o2 seem unaware of the lack of apps available here
