Guessing you need help before the repeats. Why not drop into the maths learning centre http://www.dcu.ie/maths/mlc/index.shtml. Im in Dcu for the summer, on monday i could have a look around henry gratten / science block for grinds flyers. Just let me know which subject your doing and ill get back to you monday afternoon with any information i have.

Hi guys, thanks for the replies, I just finished 1st year of Environmental Science and Health, so the maths module is the same as pretty much identical to that of Common entry into science if that helps. The topics covered are pretty similar to Higher level leaving cert level, so i've been told(I did pass level, I've never been very maths minded), are

    Functions and Graphs.
    Limits and differentiation.
    Integration.
    Logarithmic, exponential and hyperbolic functions.
Taylor series, binomial theorem and induction.
    Matrices.
    Vectors.
    Complex numbers.

are pretty much all the topics covered.I'm just in a situation where I understand the theory behind the subjects, but i'm finding it difficult to put these into practice in exam situations, so I'm just looking for someone who can simplify and break things down for my level so to speak.Any online maths resources that anyone can recommend would be appreciated, cheers

I did that module and found the maths learning center online tutorials to be great and basically teaches you most of the course. The only problem is you need to be on campus to access them and can only get at them in some labs.
