    From mcaul

Unfortuantely I challenged a moderator who made a personal attack on me & my business on another fourm and have been banned and have been asked not to post further comments.

Boards discount still applies on casinoshop even though I will no longer be active on boards.

Hope the last night in chl goes great.

Nope, its prolly more to do with the locked post a few doors down from that, however because mcaul deleted all his posts you cant get the full picture so I'm not going to comment, anyway best of luck with your online business, I've bought stuff from you at a few live events and will continue to do so.

I don't know what happened with the deleted posts but I read through a lot of his other posts just now and every one of them seemed pretty good. I'm not getting involved either but he must have either just went mental suddenly or he has good reason for this.

yea, he's usually okay, but a bit gruff. i don't know why he ended up site-banned

There was none, the Mcaul account was never banned, from Work/Jobs or the site as far as I can tell. He deleted all his posts in a thread because people didn't agree with him and thought he was anal (he was bitching about people not using 100gsm paper for their CVs and not attaching cover letters etc), which got the thread locked by Roundtower2: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055333096. For some reason he creates a second account and posts this childish thing: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055333315

The Mcaul was never banned from Work/Jobs though so I don't get his problem.

I don't know whats happening, but mcaul always seemed nice and his donation of a table to the BSOOP champion was a great gesture.

no it wasn't rt that made the comment - another mod, and it seems to have been edited out!!

All I did was explain to some that CV presentation is important, but others took the hump with it and decided to apply personal abuse.

Funny - I got 3 email form users thanking for the comments.

imo, some board mods take their badge too seriously and abuse thier positions.

We'll just leave it at that.

    Cheers all.

can't log in as normal - so assume its locked!

obviously personal abuse is allowed on certain forums. - though it now seems to have magically disappeared:rolleyes:

personal abuse is definitely not allowed on work&jobs. you should have reported the offending posts and they would have probably been deleted.

Which posts on that thread? I can see if someone has edited and check it out. What I can see on that thread is banter and people pulling the piss but nothing more serious than that and none of the Work/Jobs mods are abusing you on that thread. You deleting all your posts on the other hand was just childish and a waste of everyone's time. You posted something and some people disagreed with you, it happens.

Really? Start a thread on helpdesk about it. You don't show up as banned for me, your mccaul account was never banned by a Work/Jobs mod and none of us asked for a siteban for you because you hadn't done anything remotely deserving of one.

I did ban your second account from Work/Jobs and ask for it to be site banned but I didn't ask for your main account to be banned.

also the mcaul account doesnt show up on the site banlist

Feedback or Helpdesk forums will get you a better response, poker forum is not the place for it.
