    Really love the rose.

Nice view of the little waterfall too. Shame about the sticks at the bottom of the bright waterfall though.

Yeah it was a pity, I shot it with the camera on the ground (5d) as I didnt have a tripod with me to get the long exposure. If I had the 1d I would have had a look with live view and seen it :)

I reworked Borderfox's pics a bit only that like me (or another user/s too?)

The rose not exactly what I'd like to see 'cos from downside missing a bit, I cropped only the sides.

the rose is a lovely shot Keith. yeah pity about the sticks on the other one. the first one is nicely composed to me.

i had been trying to do similar shots but any red flowers always got overblown and gone unnatural for some reason. not sure what i was doing wrong.

Many camera have trouble with RED channel, don't worry, do it and try correct in Photoshop! -of course I think so if possible in RAW format only-

Thanks for the comments, Saggitarius nice one with the changes. Mart, I shot the Rose in RAW and the red channel was blow so I adjusted the exposure down till it stopped.

Thanks for this worlds. 1., I have only a basic knowledge in PS, I'm not a graphic yet (My oldest doughter would like to be) 2., Both photo I did "quick fix" only, a few minutes work. At waterfall only color balance and "shadow-highligt" correction and on the rose picture I did: cropping sides and unsharp mask only.
For the rose: my opinion is most picture which have "hight" is fit in portrait and as "wide" kind of thema fit into a landscape oriented frame.
    (I hope everybody understand me)

If I remember exactly big amount of photo machines have problem with the R (red) channel and if I know right important which RAW converter program using up for conversion. Opinion of many people the Bibble program is the best.(?)
