Apologies for newb questions like this, but... both myself and herself are on Meteor billpay at the moment (Talk 60, €20 per month, average bill is around €35 per month, and texts between us, which we use a lot, is free).

However, I am now sick and tired of the phone (750i) which is now 18 months old, and looking to get a new one with decent organizer that I can sync tasks and meetings with Outlook, Gmail etc. Email would be nice too! Something like N95, iPhone 3g, Blackberry Pearl etc I suppose..!

Assuming I get her to switch as well, any suggestions on what would be the best network to be on, I don't mind going pay monthly or prepay!

    Thanks for reading!!

Get the E71 :) and don't bother waiting for it to "come out" *on* some network, just go away and buy it

its like an E61i on steroids.

About to post my experience with 3 on the N95, cheapest way of owning one by far is through Meteor. A mere €169 on your tariff; upwards of €250 with everyone else really. Meteor will be 3G soon and you'll get the full benefit of the N95's HSDPA wizardry. Or just use the wifi.

Plus calls to the missus would still be free.

p.s. I don't work for any network, despite the evangelical tone!

towel401, E71 looks brilliant, but nearly as expensive as a laptop! Sure, laptops would stick out a little bit from the back pocket :D hmm, €500 is a lot more than what I would want to spend on a mobile phone..! Thanks for the suggestion though - looks like every one is after the iPhone / blackberry / curvy kinda design - just like with the cars!

JayeL, I didn't know they are €169 on my tariff! Again not cheap, but worth considering I suppose. Or else I could get a second hand one for €300 and switch to PayAsYouGo may be..!!
