    Hi all,
I got a Sony Bravia off the web last Saturday and it came yesterday. Now my problem is that there is a loud buzzing noise coming from the back of the tv. It is very noticable and annoying. Now without knowing my mother threw away the packaging. Can I still get a refund or replacement as this is a faulty TV?

Chances are a replacement will be no problem they'll just keep the packaging from the new one.

oh ok. that would be grand but would there be any chance of a refund if it breaks again?

If they fix, or replace, the fixed/replaced unit must also come with a warranty. In some cases, the warranty is extended for one year after the replacement, in others, it's not. It must at least meet the original warranty though.
