Runs as slow on my 360 - is this a common problem or am I doing something wrong?

Laptop found the 360 fine and all the music appears on it but navigation is painfully slow.

If its a wired connection, try another ethernet cable maybe.

Live works fine with that ethernet cable so I don't think it's the cable - I can hook my zen up to the 360 anyway just thought I'd like to try the media centre to see if its any good.

I had it working grand with xp no probs and very decent especially supporting divx. got a new computer with Vista and its slow as a granny doing the splits, probably worse. It did reccomend to upgrade to 802.11a as 802.11g might be to slow so was gonna give that a shot

I could never get it working on XP for some reason (prob coz I r no0b!) but with Vista it works perfect. I'd have a decent cpu (Intel E6850) and a lot of RAM (4GB OCZ Gold PC6400) so it may have something to do with your PC/laptop specs.
