new hd tv, pref 1080 p/i

hey hows it going! im looking to buy a hd tv mainly for gaming purposes! id be using hdmi to view them obv but id need at least 2 hdmi inputs into the tv! i dont really have much knowladge into hd tvs, just the basics, but im wondering is there any, half decent ones out there ya can get for around the 500 mark or so ?

if so any particular places i should be looking for them?

Hi there.First of all, youre not going to get a 1080p full hd for 500e.650e would be the minimun youd be payin for one of those.That said, seeing as gaming is your priority, 1080p would not be an advantage at all because there are no native 1080p games yet.If i had around 500e to spend on a tv for gaming, i would get one of these

They would both be perfect for gaming and they both have 3 hdmi slots so plenty of room for expansion.If i had to choose, i would spalash out a bit more and get the sony.

I just noticed that Hitachi when i was on richersounds site this morning.Its at a fantastic price alright.I looked a b it more into it and it looks good
