Another causeway adventure

Here's another rarely seen view of the Causeway.

A friend and I braved another daring descent of the Pleaskin cliff followed by a sea level scramble round Pleaskin head itself to reach Port na Tober, rarely visited and no photographs to be found anywhere online.

The collapsed sea arch on the left used to be known as the "Giant's Eyeglass" and I have an old photo which I will post shortly showing it fully intact. The stack on the right is known in the old books as "The King and His Nobles". An amazing place.

Wjich of these do you prefer?

    Thanks magic,

Here's an old etching that shows the eyeglass as it was over 100 years ago.

I think they're both gorgeous but if I had to pick, I'd take the cooler over the warmer. Or maybe not, sorry I can't decide!

Edit: I've just seen the engraving, love the way the colours echo your shots.

Both lovely Andy, and hard to pick one but maybe I have a slight prefrence for the second.

Maybe its just me but are the horizons level?

Nilhg, not quite, I have a little polishing still to do.

    Cheers

I think both are beautiful, but if I had to pick a fave I'd go with No.1. I like the warmer tones.

2nd one more for me I dont like how there is lots of orange in the first one or something. I can't really put my finger on it. But the 2nd one!!

Both great but I prefer the first. Like a postcard....(in a good way:D)

    Both good shots.

Definitely the first one (given the choice) as the reflection through the rocks works much better. It does look like the Horizon is slightly low on the left side. This is added to because of the heavy black rock on the left of the frame.

Cracking shots though. Gold Star & two Koala Stamps!!

Tough choice! 1 for me... maybe...

I'd have to pick the second shot. It's got a "cosmic" feel to it, and looks dream like....
    Fantastic work!
