The seem to be selling HTC Touch Diamond sim free for $400 and a new Iphone 3G $399.99 sim free and even Sony Ericsson XPERIA™ X1 (unlocked) $399.99 and even Nokia N96 16GB Smartphone (unlocked)
$399.99

Anyone know about these guys ?

Is it the old addage, if its too good to be true then it propable is.

While it's not as cheap as some other scam sites, to be honest, it looks too good to be true. I'd be wary myself.

The domain is brand new, it's only registered on 2008-07-03, the phone number provided is a Cell Phone in Michigan and the domain owner is in Tomball, TX?

You find this address/phone it all over auction sites and "free classified" ads.

I would pass on this "opportunity".

The power of Google!! Why would someone with such a fancy house set up a scamming website?

that house isn't anything to write home about. but scammers live in all sorts of houses. maybe he is scamming the person who will be buying the house

I don't actually think that the person behind the website is living there, he might just use that address (because it's vacant for example).

And if you punch the domain name into www.nic.com you can see the registration details. The Phone Number is easy to verify as cell phone

I too wanted to purchase from cheapandship.com but after doing a little homework and hearing what everyone else has said, this site is NOT legit. If you google the street address that is available from the site, you can view through the "street view" and see an actual picture of the street (oh how powerful google has become). There is nothing there that convinces me that it is a legit street address. A corporation is on one side of the street that shows no resemblance to being cheapandship.com and on the other side there is an older white house that looks as shaddy as the prices on the website. Judging what everyone else has said (check out yahoo questions) I would stay away from this temptation.

Is just been had by cheapandship.com. I order ar Iphone 3G and never received it. Paid the money and no Iphone was ever sent. They created a bogus account with FeDex, and shipping was supposely on be hold pending payment.
I did call FeDex and Cheapandship.com NEVER send anything pakage, they just create bogus account, and lure people with that.
cheapandship.com ask that the payment from Western Union was made to
