    Hey all,

I'm trying to find a fairly old band which I heard back in the early 90's.

To the best of my recollection they were called "Indust", or maybe it was "In Dust" - They were an industrial band based in Northern Ireland. I just had an old tape that's now well busted. I'd really like to buy of some of their stuff if possible.

I doubt they are even still going... but any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    B.

    Found this on http://www.irishrock.org/ipnw/help.html

In Dust -- Northern Irish industrial band, played in Dublin a few times
(supported Whipping Boy at the Rock Garden in 1991).
Released the experimental "Bewilderimental EP" 12-inch and the more mainstream
Ministry-esque "Bedazzled" CD (both on Wallcreeper Records).

Alas.... I can't seem to buy any of their CD's (no longer in production).

Anyone got any ideas on where to get very obscure old or second hand industrial stuff, that might have their material?

    Thanks,

    B.

I saw these lads play at The Rock Garden in 92 or 93, supporting The Young Gods. They were pretty great, and I have their album ("Nosebleed") on vinyl and CD. It was released on Wallcreeper records. I found this thread coz I'm trying to find a scan of the record cover for my mp3 rips of it. Having no luck...

BTW, Therapy? were big fans of In Dust and used to wear their t-shirts a lot, IIRC.

Just found some of their mp3s:

I was actually searching for an old industrial band and fell accross this topic. I figure I have nothing to lose by seeing if anyone here remembers them or knows who they are.

I believe the band (or album) was nammed Sic Fuk or Sic Fuc. I recall a couple of songs on it. One was this heavy distorted drum rythm with the vocalist reciting the "Mary Had a Little Lamb" nursury rhyme and another tune had this really slow sinister synth with an slow moving analog drum machine and the vocalist was repeating over with echoed vocals "Give Everything Now to me".

That's all I recall. I seem to remember them being from California but it could have just been where the tape came from. I'm desperate to find these tunes but unfortunately I don't have any more info to go on other than what I've written above. Anyone have a clue ?

For the people who were asking about the irish band IN DUST, their debut album Nosebleed has been re-mastered and re-released.

you can now get it from the usual places, iTunes, amazon etc. or from www.indust.bandcamp.com
