    What are the distance u can have betwen Caravettis in trot and canter?

    I usually put down some "bounce" caveletti. These are 3 yards between the fences. I also put down some one striders. These i make a regular horse stride. 8 yards.

    What i would usually do is start with 3 cavelleti with bounces between them and then a one strider followed bu 2 more cavelleti with a bounce and then a one strider.

    People don't use these exercises enough :(

    how big is your horse/pony as that makes a huge difference as does the size of the fences. However here are the guidelines

    3-4.5 ft apart for trot poles
    9-12 ft apart for canter poles

    9-12ft for bounce

    18-24 for a one stride

    30-36 for a two stride

    And I agree with the previous poster, you can't do too much of this kind of training.
