    hi,

wonder if anyone has used Linksys Network Storage System for 2x SATA 3,5" HDD, 100/10Mbps ethernet. (http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=340587)
Was thinking i could add a 1tb drive and all my storage issues would be sorted.

Is it easy to fit sata drives into?
Would airport extreme base station be a cheaper alternative?

    thanks

It's really easy to set up but the 100mbps connection is painfully slow. A 1-2TB external drive might be an easy, faster and cheaper option.

Something like this http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=332166 might help. Although, if you're using wireless, then it doesn't matter if you only have a 100mbps port.

Find a NAS device that suport wirless N. The lastest Macbooks support IEEE 802.11n which is good to about 200-220Mbit/s
