myself and a LARGE group of people on scouting ireland are headed to Croatia and Slovenia on saturday, i was just wondering does anyone have a url for a decent online translator.
I have phrase books, but things like,

"im a scout from ireland and im living on 2€ a day" isnt commonly found in phrase books

    any ideas???

Enjoy it! And you never know might bump in to you in Ljubljana!

Today i was in International bookshop around the corner from Reads buying a Slovene language cd and book where I saw a slovene phrase book.

If you head along Nassau street, and after passing Reads it's the next right, and it's 2 doors up...

    It's definately there

Oh you're in Cork, I'm talking about Dublin, sorry!

You'll be mocked for attempting to speak Slovene.
Because none of their neighbouring countries are interested in the language, so they won't understand why you would want to try.

I agree,it will be so easier to speak english, balcan is place where everyone knows english, especially on places where tourists come,so i think you can earn some slovenian words for yourself but its better to use english
