    Hi everyone,

My girlfriend and I are looking to get a week away in october, hopefully from the 20th to the 27th. We have been to lanzarote, Salau & Gran Canaria, so we would like to try somewhere different. I would'nt mind going to Portugal maybe. Can someone recommend a quite place that would be close to the beach and would'nt break the bank. Anybody and info on Praia Da Rocha for example.

    Thanks for the help:)

Prai de Rocha would not be described as quiet, you should look at Alvor which is about 10 miles away but much quieter. Falcon/JWT do have properties in Alvor or you could go the DIY route

I'm travelling to Alvor next week and found the DIY option much cheaper.

I was in Portugal early Oct a few years ago and the weather wasn't great - warmer than here of course but not the sort of heat many of us look forward to after an Irish summer! Early 20s I think...

Definitely would be warm in Egypt
