Low Roof Pitch & Roof Tiles problem....

    Hi,

I;m building an extension to my 4 year old semi-detached house. The extension will have a 15 degree pitched roof going across the building. It's not a lean to roof, but the roof goes from left to right across it.

Anyway, I'm having difficulty finding a roofing solution for it. At 15 degrees, most roof tiles won't work. The best most will do is 17.5 degrees once the tiles are nailed and clipped.

So what are my options to get a tile that ensures the roof is waterproofed. I'm limited in a way because the planning conditions state that the tiles need to look like what I have on the roof of the existing house.

Can cladding be got? Can the roof be sealed under the tiles totally and then use the tiles the same as the existing roof as decoration?

    Your help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Alan
