SnG Software advice

Hi All,

I am trying to grind SnGs $3 in PartPoker.

Would you advice for some sofwtare that can help me improve my game?

I looked at SNGPT but not sure.... any ideas?

I have no software advice for you,but i'd advise you to play $3 stts on another site the reg fees for the smaller tournies on party are ridiculous,20% if my memory serves me well....

I play there only because I have some money in there and want to see if I can build some bankroll.. if I dont manage not sure if I will continue with poker! If I deposit in dif site it means to get into habbit of depositing money :eek:

I read (and reading) so many thins about the game.. but still cannt beat it and dont really want to spend more money on it...

Anyway.. any advise for good SnG place?

Use sharkscope - it will give you a good overview to your opponents i.e. whether they're winning/losing players......
Don't play on p.poker........
Try Ipoker as i've found these soft as they offer loyalty bonus's + sign up bonus. P.Stars is also very good for fish at these levels

Why not play $3 SnG? Is it better higher level?

People say sit and goes are a waste of time - however I think they're a good BR building exercise and will teach you some very basic poker fundamentals.......

Just withdraw from PP. Ipoker = paddypower, greenjokerpoker et all

I don't use any SW so can't help you on that front.

I read so many things.. I am a bit tired of the whole reading haha

I started with Limit (Ed Miller - Winning Low Limit Holdem) and plaid there for about 3 months 1h a day (Got really busy at work and had no time in the evenings).
Then I read No Limt Holdem by Sklansky, then Dan Harrington on Holdem Vol1 and 1/3 of Vol. 2, Now I got Daniel Negreanu new book (dont buy it waste of money!!!!!!)

So :-) I play about 3h a day and thought by reading many forums and posts that SnG is good training and BR builder thats why I stuck with it... no major success tho...

I got into the money in a couple of Freeroll MTT .. wow that post has no meaning. sorry..

SnGWiz is good for training you when and when not to make 10BB or less pushes/calls/folds but I'd imagine at the $3 level you get to the money well before then anyway. It only works with Stars and Party but the Quizzes in it are good.

cannt really try it on full as I am at work (ooops)...

would it work with Party and Starts during the game? Showing the suggesed fold/push/call ?

Yeah looks prity useless :-)

I thought it might be using ICM or some other idea to caluclate push/fold at later stage..

I asked the developers to give me a few days evaluaiton copy... to have a look at it..

I usually use holdem indicator to calculate my odds instead of my brain (I am very lazy person) + it looks cool :-) and keeps basic stats for the players you met on the tables...
