weird telephone number

    Hi. I got a call last night which i didn't answer . The number coming up (on my landline) was 234270025.
    Does anyone have any ideas what kind of number that is?
    There is no 00 or mobile prefix before it?

    +234 is nigeria but the rest of the number is too short i think.

    Sometimes switch boards pop up random nonsense numbers. Try google it and see if anyone asked the same thing before.

    I did ring back, but get beeping which suggests nonexistent number.
    I did try to answer the call and think I heard a woman's voice as the line went down ......:confused:

    Perhaps it was a fax machine ringing you erroniously?

    i seen this number (or simular number) ring me before. twas a skype call... this is quite some time ago now though....
