Clapton custom painted Strats by Crash

    I stumbled across a terrific article about the nice Strats Clapton played some years ago. You can clearly see the first one he got in the DVD One more car one more rider. After this one there would be two more.

    I´m not a huge fan of custom paint but this thing makes me go nuts:

    This is the article. The Fender Custom Shop did a limited series of 50 custom painted bodies by the same guy who did EC's. They all appear in the article, some are terrific!

    I never liked those strats, too garish. He does make 'em sound damn good though. I always think he sounds and plays better on his Gibsons though.
