hi, Wondering how you would go about buying a small software companies product, buying the source code and all rights to use it and redevelop it and re brand it as your own.... any suggestions?

you would need to first speak to the company and see if there interested.

next you would need to draw up a legal document transferring ownership of the product / code etc.

it would all need to be legally binding. You would not want a few years down the line to be sued by the people who had the original code. If you dont have a legal document then you would not have a leg to stand on.
