Splitting cable

    If I want to split my cable, and get a second box for multiroom viewing, what exactly do I need?

    I´d imagine I can get a splitter in Maplin or the like, but where would I get the extra cable? Do I have to go crimping myself, or can you buy cable ready made?

    Yup, you can get cable (coax or some sat stuff ct100) , f-connectors and splitters in maplins. Lidl had a big "cable" kit this week for 20yoyo (would have everything you need).

    You'll find a few threads around here on the subject, and especially some of the legalities of doing this...

    if your looking for a box for multiviewing from NTL or chorus you simply need to ring them up and they will do all the necessary work for you. If you split the cable the chance's are you will only get analog in the secondary point.
