Does anyone know how to map the Windows key for use in Linux? I´m currently using Mint (basically Ubuntu) so any Debian workaround should work. I´ve googled it but had no luck so far.

Using Mint here as well, Alt + f1 is the default to open the panel menu, but open control panel-->keyboard shortcuts-->find "show the panel menu" and set it to the windows key
