I have a large lawn with mostly just grass and a few trees sown and desperately need to do something to make it a bit more intereting. Any suggestions or any books that you would refer.

I can recommend a book called The ultimate garden designer by Tim Newbury - found it gave great info and suggestions for all types of gardens

if you plan to buy online I can also recommend the book depository (free worldwide delivery and most of the time a lot cheaper than amazon) -they actually give you amazons price when you find the book you want.

I would love to support the local book stores more but find sometimes the savings online can be almost 50% (or more)......if they are only slightly different I spend locally, but unfortunately that isn't very often!

    hope this helps!!!

    I can recommend
The Essential Garden Design Workbook by Rosemary Alexander £11.99 on Amazon
