I bough one of these nameyournumbers and got 20 euros on the account. Now the new number is active, but when I set up the o2 experience + favourites,
the 1747 customer service tells me that the sales rep added my 20 euros as a "credit from o2" and not as a 20 euro top up so I have to top up again
to avail of free calls and texts.. Argh.. I called the store and they said there's nothing they can do.. Argh.. Is this just bull or is there anything
I can do? I read in another thread that people have been using those 20 euros initial nameyournumber topup for 02 experience.

Did you not get the receipt? It will say on it o2 topup which should be valid. Why dont you set it up online? Also check your recent topups see what it says

It says one stop top up on the receipt but it does not show up in the top up history. I got a text after the top up saying that my balance had been incremented with 23 euro. Never seen a text like that before. Customer service can't do anything, they said. Guess I should approach the o2 store again?

The one-step-topup is supposed to be the same as the topups they print off the machines except that it goes straight onto your account. Don't see any reason why this wouldn't count the same as the topup you print off and type the code in for.

Try the O2 forum and see if the guy there can help maybe? Otherwise ring back care again.

Slightly off-topic, but I wouldn't rely on the Topup History page on the O2 site as it doesnt show topups I did online anymore!

Some other chap complaining about Credit Me's not showing up here too: http://forums.o2online.ie/forums/showthread.php?t=469
